Downloading a single track? Use our main converter →
Three steps. Under a minute for most playlists.
Go to SoundCloud and open the playlist you want to download. On desktop, copy the URL directly from your browser's address bar. On the SoundCloud app, tap the three-dot menu on the playlist page and select Share, then Copy Link.
Come back to sctomp3.org, make sure the Playlist tab is selected, paste your URL into the input box and hit Download ZIP. Our tool fetches every track in the playlist from SoundCloud's CDN and packages them together.
When processing is complete your browser downloads the ZIP file automatically. On desktop it lands in your Downloads folder. On iPhone it saves to the Files app. On Android it goes to Internal Storage → Downloads.
Use Safari, not Chrome. iOS handles downloads through Safari's built-in download manager cleanly. Chrome on iPhone sometimes blocks automatic downloads.
Chrome or Firefox both work. Your ZIP saves to Internal Storage → Downloads automatically.
This is where most people go wrong. They copy a track URL from inside the playlist and wonder why only one song downloads. Here is exactly how to get the right URL every time.
Open SoundCloud in your browser and go to the playlist page itself — not a track inside it. The URL should look like this:
Navigate to the playlist. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right of the playlist page — not the three dots on an individual track. Select Share → Copy Link.
If the playlist is set to private, the owner needs to share it with you using the secret link — a URL with a long token after the playlist name.
As long as you have that link, our converter can process it. A playlist with no secret link and set to private cannot be downloaded by any converter.
Most converter tools give you a folder of randomly named files — numeric IDs, site name prefixes, no order. Here is exactly what our ZIP looks like when it arrives.
| Tracks | Approximate Size | Visual |
|---|---|---|
| 10 tracks | 35 – 45 MB | |
| 20 tracks | 70 – 90 MB | |
| 50 tracks | 175 – 225 MB |
Actual size varies depending on track length. A 6-minute DJ edit takes more space than a 3-minute track at the same bitrate.
Same quality per track whether you download a single song or a full playlist. The source does not change.
Four common problems — and their exact fixes.
Everything you need to know about playlist downloads.
Yes. Completely free. No track limit fees, no account required, no daily cap. Paste as many playlists as you want.
Up to 100 tracks per playlist download. For playlists over 100 tracks, split the download into batches.
Yes. Every MP3 file inside the ZIP has album artwork embedded alongside the track title and artist name. Your music player reads it automatically.
It depends on the tracks. Playlists made up of Creative Commons licensed tracks or tracks with official download enabled are fine. Playlists of copyrighted music fall into a grey area for personal use. Distributing or using downloads commercially without a license is not permitted. Check our full legal guide on the homepage for the complete breakdown.
Because SoundCloud does not stream at 320kbps. Free accounts get 160kbps AAC. Go+ subscribers get 256kbps AAC. Any converter claiming 320kbps is upscaling the file — making it bigger without improving the audio. We give you the real quality, not an inflated number.
Only if you have the secret share link from the playlist owner. Paste that link into the converter and it works the same as any public playlist. Without the secret link, private playlists cannot be accessed by any converter.
